๐Ÿช„ Wizard's tip

Leave the wall up for the whole summer. It becomes the go-to when they're hot and bored, with zero setup next time.

How to do it

  1. Attach bottles and tubs to the fence, spouts pointing down.
  2. Put a tub of water at the bottom.
  3. Pour from the top and follow where the water goes.
  4. Move containers around to change the path.

Younger kids: Keep the wall low so they can reach the top to pour.

Older kids: Let them design the layout and test which path gets the water down fastest.

โš  Safety Stay within arm's reach of under-5s around any water, even a bucket. Empty buckets and paddling pools straight after play. Cut bottle edges can be sharp; tape them.
