๐Ÿช„ Wizard's tip

This is the 1pm-to-4pm plan on a 40-degree day. Everyone gets a quiet reset in the coolest part of the house.

How to do it

  1. Drape sheets over chairs and peg them down.
  2. Fill with cushions and books.
  3. Add torches or fairy lights.
  4. Quiet reading, audiobook or story time.

Younger kids: Read together inside and use a torch for 'reading by torchlight'.

Older kids: Set a reading challenge, or record their own audiobook of a favourite story.

โš  Safety Keep fairy lights battery-powered and away from bedding heat.
