๐Ÿช„ Wizard's tip

Go early in summer or any time in winter. Low tide after a windy day is treasure time.

How to do it

  1. Walk the tide line at low tide.
  2. Collect shells, sea glass and cuttlefish.
  3. Sort the haul by colour and size.
  4. Choose the best five to take home.

Younger kids: Collect shells in a bucket and sort them into colours.

Older kids: Identify shells with a guide and make a 'beach museum' at home.

โš  Safety Leave live animals (anything with a creature inside) where they are. Play before 10am or after 4pm on hot days, with hats, sunscreen and water bottles.
